Readiness
More Than Experienced
My number one goal with any design work is to serve my client. That may seem obvious or simplistic, but think about this: have you ever encountered a person who is “good on paper" and turned out to be the wrong person for the job? (Or date or boss or...) Of course, you have–we all have!
Sure, after twenty years as a freelance designer, I have a lot of experience, creativity, and knowledge. But if my track record has taught me anything, readiness matters.
I am ready to listen, respond, and advise, accept and act on feedback, and meet deadlines and budgets as if my career depended on it–because it does! Anybody with the technical and artistic chops can create a design, but that's just "good on paper," and that's not enough to build a reputation on—not nearly enough.
I work collaboratively. I am eager to hear about your mission, ideas, wishes, questions, concerns, goals, and aspirations. I am eager to learn about your company, your brand, your products, and/or services. That information enables me to really immerse myself in your brand persona and mission and collaborate effectively and efficiently. Are you ready? I am!
